Four Random Things

1. As this is apparently one of the most important places to put my concert information: The 5th Annual Apocalypse Kow Kristmas Kabaret will be on Friday, December 15, at the Cosmopolitan Music Society. Doors will be at 6:30, Show at 7:30. Tickets are $11 or $10 with a Food Bank Donation; 50% of the proceeds will go to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Many acts, old and new, will entertain and amuse. Snacks and drinks will, of course, be free. Please come out, if you're going to be in Edmonton. It will be fun, y'all. And we'll have a non-laryngitic Jago! (Cross fingers, knock wood, no whammies no whammies.)

2. I'm done my practicum. It went pretty well. I'll ruminate on it later, but I'm just happy it's done and I got a pretty good mark.

3. I'm at over 47k for NaNo, which means if I can write just under 3000 words by midnight tomorrow, I'll have completed it for the first time EVER and will have written more this year than in all previous years combined. It's kind of a ridiculous concept, writing 50,000 word novella in one month, but I recognize and embrace it. I've done stranger things before...

4. For those who have not seen it: the horror that is Carusobot, brought to you by Warren Ellis's mailing list and the number "SWEET JEBUS WHY?" Warning: be prepared for seven minutes...(puts sunglasses on)...of unadulterated Caruso. (Cue The Who!)
