It would make linguistic debate more exciting, that's for sure.

Yesterday in Child Language Development, my professor mentioned that even though she didn't agree with Steven Pinker's veiws of language, she wouldn't want to debate him on it. She continued, "I would like to see him debate Elizabeth Brown, however." And then, as an afterthought: "If she wasn't dead." And then this popped into my head.
