The second-coolest thing I learned in Audiology today was that a sound presented at about 140 to 150 dB SPL (that's decibels, Sound Pressure Level) will make you vomit. Keep in mind that 140 dB SPL is the sound of a jet engine at 3 meters. The coolest thing I learned in Audiology today was that any sound louder than 192 dB will KILL you. I'm remembering both of these tidbits of info for when I become a super villain.
