You can't seem to reach that.

An interesting coincidence from the last twenty-four hours: while I was talking to a few of my friends about computer games we liked as children (it was a splinter of a much larger conversation), I had mentioned that I'd wanted to see if I could get my hands on The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy text-adventure, because I always got stuck in the same spot over and over again when I was younger, and I wanted to see if my improved critical-thinking skills would help me out. Well I went to MetaFilter today, and I found out that the BBC has relaunched it, online, for the 20th anniversary! I am so psyched!

In other news, an additional fifteen years of education and experience has not helped me one iota...

My favourite computer game that I can't get a hold of these days? The Oregon Trail.

Man, that Apple IIe game kicked so much ass.

My school friends and I would go try to kill our family in record time just so we could make tombstones everywhere.

Also, my right arm for a copy of Sam and Max, or any of the old Sierra games...
